Millions of people have seen it (or glimpsed) passing by, but few, very few know about it. Thousands of people read its name every day, passing quickly on the large E 45 highway, from Rome to Venice and Ravenna, but only few stop, yielding to an impulse of curiosity. The name raises some amazement – Madonna dei Bagni means Our Lady of the Bath – but then everyone can think that it should be one of thousands of small churches that dot the Italian countryside, the Umbrian one in particular. UN GIOIELLO PREZIOSO, NASCOSTO NEL CUORE VERDE DELL’UMBRIA E D’ITALIA ha festeggiato i 350 anni di vita

In milioni lo han visto (o intravisto) passando, ma pochi, molto pochi, lo conoscono. A migliaia ne leggono ogni giorno il nome, passando velocemente sulla grande arteria della E 45 che da Roma sale verso Ravenna e Venezia,  ma solo in pochi si fermano, cedendo a un moto di curiosità. Il nome desta qualche stupore –dei bagni – ma poi si conclude che in fondo sarà una delle migliaia di piccole chiese che punteggiano il paesaggio italiano,
